FAQ
Q: I’ve never played pickleball. Can beginners join?
A: YES! There will be an instructor to teach the basics to newer players. Drills and matches will be set up for more experiences players.
Q: Can my kids play too?
A: Currently pickleball is for ages 14 and up. If there is enough interest, we will add a kids’ pickleball class.
Q: How many people in a session?
A: There is a minimum of 3 people signed up for the session to run. Currently there is no cap, since we have 4 pickleball courts.
Q: Why has the price gone up?
A: Lifetime fitness is now running our pickleball program. The OPC charges $18 for two hours, and Lifetime charges $24. We are only charging $15 so we are still a good deal!
Q: If pickleball is cancelled due to rain or other issues, is there a makeup?
A: Unfortunately if pickleball is cancelled, there are no makeups.
Q: If I miss pickleball can I attend at another time to make up?
A: That is at the discretion of the Lifetime coaches. If there is room in another session, you probably can. Please ask your coach.
Pickleball Social Tournament **RESCHEDULED** Friday, July 28th, 2023!
Come out for an evening of social pickleball! Tournament will be conducted in a round-robin with play off format. There will be 5-7 games depending on the number of sign ups. If you don’t have a partner, don’t worry! We’ll match up you up or maybe even a pro will play in. Bring your own food and beverage to pass and share. Alcohol is permitted, as long as there is no glass. Tournament starts at 6:30 and will go until we have a winner. There may even be some prizes besides bragging rights! Price is $25 / person.
